JEFFERSON CITY, MO, SEPT. 28, 2018 – Katy Trail State Park – Mid Western Section invites the public to an informational meeting 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 13, at the Hartsburg Trailhead. The public is invited to share comments about the park and its operations. Park staff will be on hand to provide information and to answer questions.

Input from the public is important to Missouri State Parks. These informational meetings, which are being held in all state parks and historic sites, help create two-way communication with the public. The meetings give staff the opportunity to let people know the current status and future plans for the park or historic site, and they offer visitors the opportunity to comment on the facilities.

The Katy Trail State Park Hartsburg Trailhead is located at mile marker 153.6 in Hartsburg. For more information about the meeting, call the park at 573-449-7402. Please note the annual Hartsburg Pumpkin Festival is this day, and alternate traffic routes will be set. Follow the signs for the event parking or come via the trail.
