JEFFERSON CITY, MO, AUG. 3, 2018 – Jefferson Landing State Historic Site will host its last Backyard Concert of the summer 7 to 8 p.m., Saturday, August 18, on the lawn of the Lohman Building in downtown Jefferson City. This is a free, family friendly event.

Swampweed Cajun Dancehall Band will thrill dancers and listeners alike with its unique brand of "traditional, foot-stompin', accordion-squeezed, French-howlin' tunes from the swamps." Concert goers are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs or blankets for outdoor seating. Appropriate dress for the weather and insect repellent are also encouraged.
