JEFFERSON CITY, MO, NOV. 9, 2018 – The Rozier Gallery at Jefferson Landing State Historic Site is hosting "Thomas Hart Benton and the Navy" between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m., Nov. 17. This is a traveling exhibit of Benton's naval art produced for Abbott Laboratories during World War II. Thousands of Benton's war-time artworks were reproduced for the public to provoke emotions in support of the war effort. Join site staff to learn more about Benton's art and printmaking. Try your hand at printmaking and take your artwork home with you.

This is a drop-in event, so visitors are welcome any time between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. We suggest that you arrive by 2:30 p.m. to make sure you finish your artwork before the event closes. The hands-on activity is appropriate for children, youth and adults.
