Program offers fun look into Ozark cultural history
JEFFERSON CITY, MO, JULY 18, 2018 – Echo Bluff State Park invites the public to explore the Ozark region’s rich and colorful cultural history through family fun, traditional music and storytelling during the Hoots, Hollers, Songs and Signs concert beginning at 8:30 p.m. Saturday, July 28, at the park’s amphitheater.
Missouri author and storyteller Rick Mansfield and his friends will use stories and traditional music to share fascinating tales about Ozark mountain folklore, traditions and legends, including accounts of traditional natural cures for all sorts of ailments. This event is free and open to the public.
