JEFFERSON CITY, MO, JUNE 14, 2019 – Visit Annie and Abel Van Meter State Park for a wildflower walk at 2 p.m., Saturday, June 22. Meet at the large shelter house for a guided nature hike along the Earthworks trail to view a variety of plants and wildflowers. This interpreter-led mile-long hike over a natural surface will last approximately an hour. The Earthworks trail is a moderately difficult hike with steep hills and narrow walkways.
We highly recommend that attendees bring and use bug spray and sunscreen and wear sturdy footwear. This free event is weather permitting and open to all.
