JEFFERSON CITY, MO, APRIL 25, 2019 – Spring has arrived and with it new sights, sounds and smells on the prairie. Birds are active, flowers are blooming and bison are having babies! Join staff for a guided hike at 10 a.m., Saturday, May 4 to see what spring uncovers. Don’t forget your camera! Be prepared for a two-mile hike over uneven terrain. Bringing water, snacks, a hat and sunscreen, dressing for the weather and wearing sturdy shoes is recommended. Binoculars will be useful for looking at bison as well as other wildlife that may be out and about. Please call 417-843-6711 to register for the hike.
