JEFFERSON CITY, MO, SEPT. 19, 2019 – Learn about rural Missouri life in the 1870s with Fall on the Farm from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 5 at Watkins Woolen Mill State Park and State Historic Site.
Activities will include corn shelling, cider pressing, gardening, blacksmithing, woodstove cooking, seed saving, toy making and Victorian children’s games. Tours of the woolen mill will be available for a discounted fee. The Mt. Vernon church and Franklin school will be open.
