Release Date

The public is invited to experience prehistoric Missouri in the Missouri State Museum. The event will be held from 6-9 p.m. on Fri., Nov. 6 in the Missouri State Capitol rotunda.

Families and kids of all ages will see volcanoes ready to erupt, explore shallow seas, walk with dinosaurs and dig for fossils. Guest presenters will join visitors while they explore the state’s primordial past. Tours of prehistoric Missouri will run every half-hour starting at 6 p.m. Hands-on activities and information stations will be available throughout the event.

Evening entry to the Museum will be from the east and west entrances to the Capitol with ADA access available through the Capitol garage, at the lower level of the east side of the building.
