Experience the splendor and fun of fall at the sixth annual Fall Harvest Festival. The festival will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Oct.10 at Washington State Park near DeSoto. Sponsored by Missouri State Parks, all events are free and open to the public.

The event will begin with a craft fair including local Missouri artisans, crafters, and hobbyists at the Big River day-use shelter. Homemade food and crafts will be available for purchase. Many artisans will also be providing demonstrations. Musical entertainment, a variety of crafts for children, a free hayride, and other activities for the whole family will also be available.

The park will also hold an open house style informational meeting in conjunction with the Harvest Festival. Park staff will be on hand at the welcome tent to provide information on future plans for the facility and answer questions. Visitors are invited to share feedback and suggestions about services and operations.

Washington State Park is located 10 miles south of DeSoto on State Hwy 21. For more information about the event, call the park office at 636-586-5768.
