Dr. Edmund A. Babler Memorial State Park hosts second annual fall festival Oct. 26

JEFFERSON CITY, MO, OCT. 10, 2019 –  Dr. Edmund A. Babler Memorial State Park invites the public to visit the park 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 26 for its second annual fall festival.

9 to 10 a.m. Nature Stroll - Join an interpreter for a stroll through the woods on the Hawthorn Trail and enjoy the scenery that Babler has to offer. Meet at the Alta Shelter parking lot to travel through one of Missouri’s most prized possessions, a dolomite glade. 
2 to 3 p.m. Slither Me Timbers - Learn about snakes, why they are beneficial to you and view one of Babler’s resident snakes. Meet at the campground amphitheater. 
7 to 8 p.m. Camper Judging - Decorate your camper to participate in the Halloween decorating contest. The winner will be announced following the judging. Meet in the campground
