JEFFERSON CITY, MO, AUG. 27, 2019 – Close out the end of summer at St. Francois State Park this Labor Day weekend with lots of fun outdoor activities for the whole family.
Learn about bicycle safety from a Missouri State Park Ranger Friday, Aug. 30 at 7 p.m., at the campground playground. Participants may decorate their bicycle or scooter for a rolling parade through the electric loop of the campground.
Stop by the amphitheater at 4 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 31 to celebrate National Trail Mix day by making your own trail mix. Park staff will supply peanuts, chocolate chips, raisins and other goodies to create your own tasty mix.
Bring your four-legged friend to the park amphitheater at 7 p.m. Saturday to show off their skills in a dog talent show. Participating pups will get a doggie treat bag and the top dog will get a special prize! Participating dogs must be leashed and friendly with people and other pets.
