JEFFERSON CITY, MO, NOV. 29, 2018 – Dillard Mill State Historic Site invites you and your family to meet Santa and Mrs. Claus from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Sat., Dec. 15. Santa Claus is gearing up for his Christmas deliveries and has once again contacted Dillard Mill to grind special oats for his reindeer. Everyone is invited to meet and greet this special arrival. During this time, Santa and Mrs. Claus will be handing out ornaments and candy to children. Photo opportunities will be plenty, so remember to bring your camera and dress warmly. Refreshments will be served.
This free event will be at the mill. Dillard Mill State Historic Site is one of Missouri’s best-preserved examples of a water-powered gristmill. This mill, which has been restored to operational order, was built around 1900 and continued to grind grain until the 1960s. In case of bad weather, the event will be moved to the park office building.
