JEFFERSON CITY, MO, MARCH 27, 2020 – As part of its ongoing effort to help limit the spread of the COVID-19 virus, the Missouri Department of Natural Resources has postponed the pesticide collection event originally scheduled for April 11 at Heritage Tractor, 3285 N. US Hwy. 63 in West Plains. The event has been rescheduled for Sept. 19 at the same location. More information will be provided prior to the event.
This would have been the first of six local pesticide collection events scheduled for 2020. The next event is set for May 16 at Greenway Equipment, 20919 State Hwy. 114 in Dexter. The collection events are open to all Missouri farmers and households.

Rodenticides
Dewormers
Fly tags
Fertilizers containing pesticide
Insecticides
Fungicides
Herbicides
Items not accepted include:
Paint
Explosives
Fire extinguishers
Yard waste
Electronics
Trash
Pesticides from businesses, pesticide production facilities, pesticide distributors, pesticide retailers
