JEFFERSON CITY, MO, AUG. 22, 2018 - The Missouri Department of Natural Resources, in conjunction with the Jefferson City MFA, will provide a free pesticide collection event from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Sept. 8, 2018, at the Jefferson City MFA located at 1009 Fourth St., Jefferson City.
The collection is open to all Missouri farmers and households.
Accepted items include:
- Unwanted pesticides
- Herbicides
- Insecticides
- Fungicides
- Rodenticides
- Dewormers
- Fly tags
- Fertilizers containing pesticide
Not accepted items include:
- Paint
- Explosives
- Fire extinguishers
- Yard waste
- Electronics
- Trash
- Pesticides from businesses, pesticide production facilities, pesticide distributors, pesticide retailers
