JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – The Missouri Department of Natural Resources and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency approved the proposed final remedy of no further corrective actions and terminated WM LampTracker, Inc.’s hazardous waste permits.

These decisions are a result of WM LampTracker, Inc. having completed clean closure of its hazardous waste management and resource recovery units and corrective action obligations.

WM LampTracker, Inc., previously known as H.T.R, Inc., operated under two hazardous waste permits. The department issued the Missouri Hazardous Waste Management Facility Part I Permit. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency issued the Hazardous and Solid Waste Amendments Part II Permit. Both agencies determined WM LampTracker, Inc. closed its facility according to the approved closure plan and met the requirements of federal and state hazardous waste laws and regulations.

Based on currently available information, no additional cleanup is required at the facility. Any parties adversely affected or aggrieved by the final remedy decision or the termination of the Part I and Part II Permits may file a timely appeal.
