JEFFERSON CITY, MO, JAN. 17, 2019 – Cuivre River State Park will hold an informational meeting for volunteers at 6 p.m., Jan. 22, in the Vistor’s Center. This meeting is for existing volunteers and anyone wishing to learn more about becoming a park volunteer. The park has many potential volunteer opportunities for all ages and abilities. Some possible projects include invasive bush honeysuckle removal, assisting with educational programs or special events, small maintenance projects on park buildings or trail maintenance. The park is also looking for volunteer campground hosts. Information will be available at the meeting about hosting, or you may call the park office for more details on becoming a host.
