JEFFERSON CITY, MO, AUG. 28, 2019 – Want to learn how to cook a full dinner with all the fixings outdoors?  With a set of Dutch ovens, you can create delicious gourmet dinners in the outdoors as easily as you would in your home's kitchen. Come to Battle of Pilot Knob State Historic Site Sept. 14 from 5 to 7:30 p.m. when site staff will demonstrate the preparation of a full dinner including roast chicken, cornbread, side dishes and dessert.  Not only is the food good, but it is a great activity to do together.
