JEFFERSON CITY, MO, JULY 9, 2019 – Two bands will replace soldiers from the North and South during the "Battle of the Bands on the Battlefield" Friday, July 26 at Battle of Lexington State Historic Site in Lexington. The battle will begin at 7 p.m. and the victor will be declared at 9 p.m.

Beam and the Eads from Lexington, and Mojo Dogs from Higginsville will each play for an hour to convince the audience to cheer for their side. Cheers will determine the victor of the battle. The historic site will have food trucks stationed in the sutler area to keep you well stocked with provisions during the battle. Bring chairs, insect repellent and your enthusiasm, your side is counting on you!
