Annie and Abel Van Meter State Park hosts Native American storytelling Nov. 2
JEFFERSON CITY, MO, OCT. 16, 2019 – Join the Missouri Humanities Council and Annie and Abel Van Meter State Park at 6 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 2 at Missouri's American Indian Cultural Center located in Annie and Abel State Park for a storytelling event hosted by Suzanne Michelle White. This presentation will focus on traditional stories told primarily by Choctaw, Cherokee, and Delaware Nations or Tribes. White is a member of or descended from each of the Nations or Tribes listed.
This event is free and open to the public and all ages are welcome.
