Release Date

JEFFERSON CITY, MO, SEPT. 12, 2019 – Visit Annie and Abel Van Meter State Park from 10 a.m., to 1 p.m. for it's second annual Archaeology Day, Saturday, Sept. 28. Various tables and activities including atlatl throwing, archaeological crafts and archaeology in a box will be held at the large shelter house. Everyone will enjoy this free exciting and educational event. Bring a picnic lunch and your excitement for archaeology out to the park!
