This is the first of several Water Quality Standards Workgroup meetings to review, revise or update water quality standards in 10 CSR 20-7.031 as part of a three-year review. The department will attempt to correct technical difficulties as they arise, but the department cannot guarantee the quality of the Webex or conference call option. The meeting will not be subject to change or repeat due to any technical difficulties.

Section 303(c)(1) of the Clean Water Act and the regulations EPA developed to implement that section, located in Code of Federal Regulations 40 C.F.R. § 131.20, require that states from time to time, but at least once every three years, hold public hearings to review applicable water quality standards and, as appropriate, modify and adopt water quality standards. This meeting will include the results of the TR survey conducted in 2022, a review of the TR process, and a discussion of selected topics and future workgroup meetings.
