A proposed amendment to 10 CSR 10-6.210, Confidential Information, is now available for public review and comment until April 7, 2022. Written comments may be submitted by mail to the Missouri Department of Natural Resources, Air Pollution Control Program, P.O. Box 176, Jefferson City, MO 65102-0176 or online through the Regulatory Action Tracking System.

The purpose of this proposed amendment is to add definitions and remove the listing of specific emission data elements that could be considered confidential business information from subparagraph (3)(A)8.E. The department added the list of emission data elements in a 2016 amendment and submitted it to EPA in November 2016, to replace the current rule in the Missouri State Implementation Plan. However, EPA questioned the listing of the emission data elements in the rule and suggested that this will prevent the amendment from being SIP approvable. The department will hold a public hearing about the proposed amendment during the Missouri Air Conservation Commission meeting on March 31, 2022. Please follow the link below for more information.
