Washington State Park will welcome the Potosi High School Theatre Troupe #3126 and Drama Club students as they present "The Bat Trial" at 6 p.m. on April 8 at the Campground Amphitheatre.    

 

The entertaining and educational show features a cast of humans and creatures as they examine a bat on trial.    

The presentation will top of a weekend of programing at the park.  Beginning at 6 p.m. on April 7, park staff will present, "Creatures of the Night," a fun and informative look at bats and other nocturnal creatures that inhabit nature.

On April 8 at 2 p.m., the park will host a guided hike beginning at Thunderbird Lodge.  Washington State Park interpretive staff will lead guests on a 1.5 mile hike on the 1000 Step Trail.  The hike will focus on the natural features of the park and signs of spring.  Beginning at 4 p.m., a Petroglyph Tour will be held at the Petroglyph Site.  Washington State Park interpretive staff will discuss the significance of the ancient petroglyph symbols at the site.   

All events are free and open to the public.
