The public is invited to attend Washington State Park’s 7th Annual Fall Harvest Fest on Saturday, Oct. 8. This handmade item and craft fair will be held in the Big River Day Use Area at Shelter #2 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Concessions and food items will be for sale by Missouri Park Adventures, concessionaire at Washington State Park. The fair will also feature live musical entertainment by the Whitewater Bluegrass Band from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m., crafts for kids, and nature displays. Hayrides will also be offered from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. A petroglyph and glade guided interpretive tour will take place at 2 p.m. at the Petroglyph Site. The festival and its activities are free to attend.
In addition to these activities, this event will also feature an informational open house booth for visitors to meet park staff and learn about Washington State Park and its features.
Artisans and crafters from the state of Missouri are invited to attend this fair and display their arts. There is no vendor/booth fee for this event. If interested in signing up as a vendor, contact the park office.
