JEFFERSON CITY, MO, JUNE 1, 2017 – The annual Twilight Trek and Taste at Washington State Park will be held Saturday, June 3 and give visitors a special night in the park. The event will be a guided lantern-led hike from 6 to 10 p.m. over a .5-mile natural surface trail.
The guests will end the hike at an outdoor shelter area for an evening of complimentary wine tasting and hors d’oeuvre. Wine tastings will be provided by local area wineries.
Reservations are required to attend and there are a limited number of spots available. A non-refundable reservation fee of $5 per person is required at the time of booking. All participants must be 21 years or older. To make a reservation, contact the park office at 636-586-5768 or stop by the office.
All events are weather permitting and subject to change. The hike is considered moderately difficult. Participants are encouraged to bring a flashlight or battery-powered lantern for the trek and dress accordingly for the outdoor experience.
