In April, the Missouri State Museum will continue its 2017 "Storytime Saturdays" program series. Through May 25, join staff each Saturday morning at 11 a.m. for a series of stories and interactive programs on Missouri’s history and natural resources.
"Storytime Saturdays" will focus on families with children ages 3-6 Sponsored by Missouri State Parks, the programs will be held in various locations throughout the museum’s History and Resources halls in the State Capitol.
The museum opens a new exhibit on Missouri in the Great War on April 6. Many of April's program themes will include stories of life on the home front during WWI:
- April 1: Games from Long Ago - Part 1
- April 8: Finding Winnie
- April 15: Raggedy Ann and Andy - Part 1
- April 22: Bennie the Biplane
- April 29: Knit Your Bit
