The Battle of Lexington State Historic Site and the Kansas City Astronomy Society will present a stargazing party at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, Aug.15 at the site’s visitor center.

Sponsored by Missouri State Parks, the event will start with a slide show. Guests will then head to the top of the battlefield to watch the stars. Telescopes will be provided at the event, and stargazing will continue until 10 p.m.
