JEFFERSON CITY, MO, SEPT. 7, 2017 – A lecture on "St. Charles Final Resting Places" will be held Sept. 21 at First Missouri State Capitol State Historic Site in St. Charles. The program will be held at 7 p.m. at the historic site and is open to the public.
The lecture will explore the history of final resting places in St. Charles. Local historian Justin Watkins will share the history behind the cemeteries of St. Charles and the stories of some of the most famous burials.
The program is part of the monthly "St. Charles History Talks" series sponsored by the Friends of First Missouri State Capitol. A $10 donation is suggested and includes a membership to the Friends of First Missouri State Capitol.
