Guests are invited to attend the Spring Thing Walk at Washington State Park near De Soto. The walk will start at 1 p.m. on March 25 at the Thunderbird Lodge.
The guided hike will take place along the Big River floodplain and will allow hikers to examine some of the first signs of spring in this area.
The hike will last approximately 90 minutes. Visitors should dress appropriately for the outdoor experience. Binoculars may be useful for the hike. Guests are encouraged to bring a picnic lunch to enjoy before or after the hike. This event is free and open to the public.
