JEFFERSON CITY, MO, JUNE 2, 2017 – The public is invited to learn about birds of prey at a program Saturday, June 10 at Robertsville State Park near Robertsville. The Raptor Awareness program will begin at 1 p.m. in the park’s day-use area shelter.
The World Bird Sanctuary will present the program that will feature birds of prey, including falcons, hawks, owls and vultures. In addition to seeing the raptors, guests will learn about the vulture’s secret weapon and how to identify a bird of prey in the wild. The highlight will be having the birds soar right over the heads of the audience.
