JEFFERSON CITY, MO, MARCH 30, 2018 – Prairie State Park invites the public to an informational meeting at noon April 7. The meeting will be held in the park’s visitor center after the Bison Hike. The public is invited to share comments about the park and its operations. Park staff will be available to provide information about the park and answer questions.
Input from the public is important to Missouri State Parks. These informational meetings, which are being held in all state parks and historic sites, help create two-way communication with the public. The meetings give park staff the opportunity to let people know the current status and future plans for the park, and they offer visitors the opportunity to comment on the facilities.
Prairie State Park is located at 128 NW 150th Lane, Mindenmines. For more information about the public information meeting or other events at the park, call 417-843-6711.
