The public is invited to Dr. Edmund A. Babler Memorial State Park’s Pollinator Palooza event and open house. The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Aug. 13 at the River Hills Visitor Center of Dr. Edmund A. Babler Memorial State Park located near St. Louis.
Starting at 10 a.m., visitors will have the chance to explore the various displays set up around the exhibit hall. Throughout the day, there will also be hikes, crafts and many more activities that show visitors how to help pollinators. This event is free and open to the public.
During this time, park representatives will be available to discuss future plans for the facility and answer questions. Visitors are invited to share comments and suggestions about park services and operations. This open house is part of an ongoing effort by Missouri State Parks to ensure citizens have input regarding the facilities and services offered in state parks and historic sites.
Dr. Edmund A. Babler Memorial State Park is located 20 miles west of St. Louis on Highway BA, between U.S 40 and Highway 100. For more information about the event, call 636-458-3813.
