The public is invited to a photo walk with professional photographer Al Griffin at Bennett Spring State Park.  The walk will start at 5 p.m. on April 8 at the park’s nature center.

Griffin will lead the walk, which is open to anyone interested in taking better pictures of the natural beauty in the Ozarks.  As a professional photographer, Griffin's commercial work has been published in various magazines and his fine art images have been exhibited in New York City

The event is designed to allow participants to move along one of the many trails in the park where there are plenty of photo subjects such as plants, insects or animals. Participants are encouraged to bring a camera, dress appropriate for outdoor weather and wear comfortable shoes. The walk will end with a question and answer session about the successes and challenges encountered during the walk.

Bennett Spring State Park is located 12 miles west of Lebanon on Highway 64.  For more information about the event, call the park at 417-532-3925.  For more information on state parks and historic sites, visit http://mostateparks.com.
