Volunteers wanting to lend a hand at Battle of Lexington State Historic Site are invited to participate in Park Day 2017. The day will begin at 9 a.m. on April 1 at the visitor center.
Volunteer projects at the historic site will include cleanup, painting and landscaping. The event is part of a national effort sponsored by the Civil War Trust as an annual hands-on preservation event to help battlefields and historic sites.
