JEFFERSON CITY, MO, MAY 17, 2017 – An exhibit featuring photographs from 1920s Missouri will open Tuesday, May 23 at the Elizabeth Rozier Gallery in Jefferson Landing State Historic Site. An opening reception for the exhibit will be from 4 to 6 p.m. in the Rozier gallery.
"Missouri c. 1925" features photographs that document a state of contrasts – traditions and progress, rural and urban, and scenic beauty and industrial output. The photographs are from the Missouri State Museum collection. The reception is sponsored by the Friends of the Missouri State Museum.
The Rozier Gallery is located at Jefferson Landing State Historic Site, 100 Jefferson St. in Jefferson City. The Missouri State Museum, which is part of the Missouri state park system, is located on the first floor of the Missouri State Capitol.
