JEFFERSON CITY, MO, JUNE 2, 2017 – As the flood recovery and cleanup efforts continue, the Missouri Department of Natural Resources is extending its storm waiver issued last month. The waiver gives residents and communities in affected counties throughout the state additional flexibility in cleaning up damages associated with heavy rain, flooding and flash flooding that began April 28.
The waiver shall be in effect until August 3, 2017 unless extended. Further information, including the full text of the waiver, is available on http://dnr.mo.gov/disaster.htm. Additional state recovery resources are available at http://recovery.mo.gov.
