Hunter-Dawson and Towasahgy state historic sites focus of meetings

JEFFERSON CITY, MO, APRIL 30, 2018 – Hunter-Dawson State Historic Site invites the public to a public meeting at 4 p.m. Monday, May 14. The public is invited to share comments about Hunter-Dawson and Towosahgy state historic sites and their operations. Historic site staff will be available to provide information and answer questions. The meeting will be held in the Hunter-Dawson State Historic Site’s office.

Input from the public is important to Missouri State Parks. These informational meetings, which are being held in all state parks and historic sites, help create two-way communication with the public. The meetings give staff the opportunity to let people know the current status and future plans for the park or historic site, and they offer visitors the opportunity to comment on the facilities.

Hunter-Dawson State Historic Site is located at 312 Dawson Road, New Madrid. For more information about the open house or about other events at the park, call 573-748-5340.
