JEFFERSON CITY, MO, JUNE 2, 2017 – The Missouri State Museum is offering a fun twist for its summer programming with interactive programs for all ages.
"Learning @ 11" is a series of interactive programs exploring various aspects of Missouri’s cultural and natural history specifically focused on age groups 4 to 7 using activity-based programming. Programs will be held from 11 to 11:45 a.m. each Tuesday during June. Dates and program themes are listed below:
June 6 - Animals of World War I
June 13 - Lewis and Clark
June 20 – Traffic Signs
June 27 – The Osage
"Tuesdays @ 2" is a similar program focused on age groups 8 to 12 years using activity-based programming. The dates and program themes will be the same as the "Learning @ 11" but the programs will be held from 2 to 2:45 p.m. each Tuesday.
All programs will be held on the first floor of the State Capitol and are free to the public.
