JEFFERSON CITY, MO, JUNE 15, 2018 – Lewis and Clark State Park invites the public to join park staff in a special nighttime adventure along the park’s Gosling Lake Trail 9:30 to 10:30 p.m. Saturday, June 23, at the park. The Night Expedition outing is part of the National Wildlife Federation’s 2018 Great American Campout Day June 23.

During the Night Expedition hike, participants will learn about several animals that are active at night, including how to identify owls by their call and in flight.

Participants should meet at the park office for the hike and are encouraged to bring a flashlight, insect repellent and to wear comfortable hiking shoes.
