Visitors will be able to join park staff to help get the park spruced up for fall during "Leave No Trace in this Place". The event will feature activities and volunteer opportunities from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. on Oct. 8 at the park.
The day will feature a scavenger hunt, trail trekking and maintenance, and several other volunteer projects to help beautify the park. Groups are welcome, but should call in advance with number of people. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Preregistration is highly recommended.
In case of rain, the event will be rescheduled for Oct. 15.
