JEFFERSON CITY, MO, MAY 18, 2018 – For anyone who has ever wanted to try kayaking but didn’t know where to begin, or who wants to get out on the water but lacks the right equipment, Missouri State Parks has a solution. This summer, select state parks will offer Learn 2 Paddle training classes that will teach participants how to paddle a kayak safely and have a safe enjoyable time on the water.
Led by Missouri State Park staff, the free kayaking classes will offer a great opportunity to try something new and to experience some of Missouri’s best lakes. The parks will supply the kayaks and all the necessary equipment.
These classes are free, but require registration. For more information or to register, visit https://mostateparks.com/learn2paddle.
