JEFFERSON CITY, MO, JULY 2, 2018 – Johnson’s Shut-Ins State Park invites the public to a combined informational meeting 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday, July 14, at the park’s Black River Center. The public is invited to share comments about Johnson’s Shut-Ins and Taum Sauk Mountain state parks. Park staff will be on hand to provide information and to answer questions.

Input from the public is important to Missouri State Parks. These informational meetings, which are being held in all state parks and historic sites, help create two-way communication with the public. The meetings give staff the opportunity to let people know the current status and future plans for the park or historic site, and they offer visitors the opportunity to comment on the facilities.

Johnson’s Shut-Ins State Park is located at 148 Taum Sauk Trail, Lesterville. For more information about the informational meeting, call the park at 573-546-2450.
