The public is invited to an informational meeting at Wallace State Park. This meeting will be held from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Aug. 6 at the enclosed shelterhouse of Wallace State Park near Cameron.
Discussion during this meeting will center on the general operations of the park. Park staff will be present to provide information about the park and to answer any questions. The public is invited to share comments about the park and its operations.
This meeting is part of an ongoing effort by Missouri State Parks to ensure that the public has input on services and facilities in state parks and historic sites.
Wallace State Park is located six miles south of Cameron on Highway 121. From Interstate 35, take exit 48, go south of Highway 69 for one-half mile and then take Highway 121 for one mile to park entrance. For more information about the event, call 816-632-3745. Missouri State Parks is supported by the one-tenth of one-percent Parks, Soils and Water Sales Tax, which accounts for approximately 75 percent of the budget to repair, improve and maintain state parks and historic sites.
