After the celebration, the association will host an International Standard Accuracy Contest of atlatl throwing accuracy, along with the Moche Toss and other games. Preregistration and experience are not required to participate.

The atlatl is a hunting tool used by early Native Americans. It is a two-piece weapon featuring a long, slender spear or dart that is launched by a hand-held throwing stick.
