JEFFERSON CITY, MO, MAY 15, 2018 – First Missouri State Capitol State Historic Site invites the public to a combined open house 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, May 19 at the historic site. The public is invited to share comments about the historic site, along with Edward "Ted" and Pat Jones - Confluence Point State Park and the eastern section of Katy Trail State Park. Staff will be on hand to provide information and to answer questions about the three facilities and their operations.

Input from the public is important to Missouri State Parks. These informational meetings, which are being held in all state parks and historic sites, help create two-way communication with the public. The meetings give staff the opportunity to let people know the current status and future plans for the park or historic site, and they offer visitors the opportunity to comment on the facilities.

First Missouri State Capitol State Historic Site is located at 200 South Main Street, St. Charles. For more information about the open house or about other events at the park, call 636-940-3322.
