JEFFERSON CITY, MO, FEB. 20, 2018 – Dr. Michael Kateman will present a lecture titled "The Fenwicks of Arrow Rock, 1835-Present: My Ancestry, Racial Identity and Patriotism" on March 3 at Arrow Rock State Historic Site. The lecture is the next installment in the state historic site’s First Saturday Lecture series.
This presentation provides a personalized look into the experiences of a pioneer family who were early settlers in Arrow Rock and whose descendants still live there today. The lecture is free and begins at 10 a.m. Refreshments will be provided.
Dr. Michael Kateman was born and raised in the Arrow Rock area. From 1987 to 2005, he served as executive director of development for Columbia College and most recently was director of internal communications for the University of Missouri System. Dr. Kateman is a member of the Arrow Rock Lyceum Theatre board of directors.
