Visitors are invited to the Fall Outdoor Discovery Day at Crowder State Park near Crowder. A variety of free events will be offered from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Sept. 24 at the park.
Outdoor demonstrations and activities will include Dutch oven cooking, archery, nature trivia contests, compass skills and nature hikes. Gary Kuntz of Mo-Tell storytellers will provide entertainment for all age groups as he tells outdoor stories, tall tales and interactive stories under the big tent at Shelter 3 from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. This year’s event is being held in conjunction with National Public Lands Day.
