JEFFERSON CITY, MO, JULY 18, 2017 – An Explorer Day Camp from Aug. 1-3 at Knob Noster State Park near Knob Noster is the perfect way to learn about nature while having fun. The free day camp is offered to children between 8 and 14 years of age.

Participants will kayak, hike and learn about native Missouri wildlife while earning their Missouri State Park Explorer Patch. The first day will focus on marvelous mammals; the second day will focus on awesome amphibians and rad reptiles; and the third day will focus on participants earning the explorer patch.

Pre-registration is required as space is limited and registration must be received by July 31. Participants must be accompanied by an adult. Lunch will not be provided. For questions or to register, call 660-563-2463.
