Release Date

JEFFERSON CITY, MO, MARCH 16, 2018 – Children ages 3 to 10 are invited to hunt for more than 1,500 candy-filled Easter eggs  Saturday, March 31, at Hunter-Dawson State Historic Site in New Madrid.

The Easter egg hunt will begin at 11 a.m. and is free and open to the public. Participating children will be divided into four age groups during the hunt, and prizes will be awarded. Participants should bring their own basket or bag for the hunt. In case of inclement weather, the hunt will be cancelled.
