Visitors are invited Battle of Island Mound State Historic Site near Butler on for an early Earth Day celebration. The event will take place from 4-6 p.m. on April 19 at the historic site.
Staff will present information on the history of Earth Day, recycling facts and tips for composting. The information will focus on ways to make the world a "greener" place.
